About me

I use science based tools and technology to elevate and optimise your performance and thats what sets me apart from the traditional methods of training. That and the real focus on individualization and communication.

I believe that every athlete is unique therefore the training must be tailored accordingly, with interventions being made from one session to another.

I leave nothing to chance

  • I developed my own methodology based on the available science and on my own training and racing experience. I want to share everything with you in order to help you reach your goals.

    There will be no rock left unturned on your path to succes.

  • I am looking everyday for new competitive advantages. As I learn more, our race plans become flawless so that on race day everything comes down to execution.

    Don't worry, I got you covered on every aspect from in-race nutrition to the race strategy. Just follow the path and get adventurous.

  • As we all know, recovery is a big part of training. I put a lot of focus on recovery and injury prevention so that you don't have to worry about missing your goals due to injuries and/or poor recovery protocols.

  • Fueling should be your friend and not your enemy. With the help of several certified nutrition specialists we came up with the principles that are ment to land you the perfect conditions for performance on both training and racing.

What is the SMART Method?

  • I am passionate about our sport and I am constantly improving my level of understanding in the field of human performance.

  • I am keen on learning more everyday in order to apply in my practice only the best principles of training available out there nowadays, in the vast sea of information.

  • I set apart from the traditional coaching methods by looking at training with a holistic approach, science based, and rooted in today's demands of understanding new technology and what it brings into the game.

  • I only work with tested methods and protocols and I seek to individualize training up to the point were it is only suited to the individual athlete's profile, needs, and objectives.

Online coaching via TrainingPeaks

I don't do all my coaching online but it sure helps to have a place where everything syncs and matches. I use TrainingPeaks not only for prescription and analysis but also because it is a valuable community of athletes and a neverending source of inspiration.

Individualized training

My training method is individualized and unique as the athletes I am training with. Having this approach is mandatory and one of my core beliefs. Adaptating the approach with precise interventions from one session to another puts us one step closer to our common objectives.

Testing protocols

I developed my own testing protocols guided by my unique training methodology. I truly believe that you cannot improve what you are not able to test and adapt to your own athlete’s unique profile. That's why the more we test the better the output gets. I mostly use testing for direction and adjustments but it doesn't mean it can't get fun sometimes.
